A tight umbrella description of this show: it is a peek into the future through the art of the past fused with anxieties of the present and of recent experiences.  Not all pretty, but not all downer, either.

I would like to add that five of the works from this show were created or begun during a residency stay at Kimmel-Harding-Nelson in Nebraska City.  Click on their link at right.  It was an excellent experience.  I met composers, a writer, documentarians, photographers… really sharp and creative people.  We were all very busy being productive and were supported by the wonderful staff there.  Thank You!

Now – it’s a wild ride up to the last minute!  Some of our students at BU hang their thesis show the same day!  It’s interesting and exciting to feel the squeeze together.  If you are in a crunch period, know that you are not alone.  Keep pushing and take care of yourself.  If you are breathing-in Spring in a leisurely way, smell the flowers for us, who on the run in the crazy world of our own making.
